Sensory Benches
Tactile sculptural seating designed for calm,
connection and sensory grounding.
Designed for calmer, more connected spaces.
These benches are designed as tactile sensory experiences - blending sculptural fibre art with functional seating to create spaces that feel calmer, softer and more connected.
In a world that often feels fast, overstimulating and disconnected, sensory interaction can offer moments of grounding, connection and presence through touch and texture.
Whether placed within homes, workplaces, public environments or community spaces, each piece invites curiosity, interaction and a quieter way of engaging with the world around us.

Designed for the spaces humans gather, rest and move through.
These works are especially meaningful for:
-
sensory seekers
-
neurodivergent people
-
inclusive public environments
-
wellness spaces
-
waiting rooms and foyers
-
homes seeking warmth and connection
-
workplaces prioritising wellbeing
-
galleries and community spaces
Each bench is handcrafted to create not only visual impact, but emotional and sensory experience through touch and interaction.

Creating more human-centred spaces.
I’m deeply interested in the role sensory-rich art and tactile design can play within the spaces humans move through every day.
My long-term vision is to bring sensory benches and tactile sculptural works into homes, workplaces, galleries and public environments such as airports, foyers, shopping centres and community spaces - creating moments of grounding, calm and connection within environments that can often feel overstimulating or disconnected.
I believe thoughtfully designed sensory experiences have the power to soften spaces, support wellbeing and invite people back into their bodies through touch, texture and interaction.
As this work continues to evolve, my hope is to create spaces that feel more inclusive, emotionally connected and human.
